Rev. Sam Dexter has been our minister since 2021. An ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, Sam is the Manager of Spiritual Care at Regional Hospice in Danbury. Sam’s faith was deepened through his membership at Riverside Church in New York City while he was an undergraduate at Columbia University, and he attended Yale Divinity School to pursue his calling to ministry. Sam lives in Middlebury.

About Us

We have always been happy to be what we are: a small, friendly local church rooted deeply in our little corner of Litchfield. We still love our old hymns and a traditional style of worship while always finding something new to enrich us. Some of us are new to the community while others have been a part of the congregation their whole lives. Though we may be small in numbers, we are big of heart! Coming together for worship on Sunday deepens our spiritual lives while also providing a real community and continued learning. Our connection to our faith community also brings opportunities to grow in faith through mutual care and service. We hope you will join us!
